    THE MATAO EVENT CENTRE

    The MATAO Event Centre is a beautifully restored, one of a kind, fully outfitted facility able to accommodate all technical and production needs to make any event spectacular! This venue hosts live events and produces weekly entertainment for the public. The MATAO Event Centre is fully licensed and has it's own cantina of snacks. Corporate rentals are available for retreats, meetings, seminars & conferences. Private group rentals are also available for weddings, anniversaries and large family events. The building can capacitate up to 160 guests. An outdoor patio, stage and green space will be available during the summer months.

    THE MATAO EVENT CENTRE *entrance policy*


    • All guests entering the building will be required to go through mandatory security checks.  

    • All guests will be required to have a valid ticket or proof of purchase with a valid legal government issued ID.

    • All guests will be wrist-banded upon entry. Anyone found tampering or without a wristband will be removed from the building, no exceptions, no refunds.

    • No pets, outside food or drinks are allowed inside the building.

    • A zero tolerance policy is in place for any illegal activity, weapons, drugs or substances on or in the property.

    • Smoking and vaping is not allowed inside the building and must be done on the sidewalk, outside, a minimum of 26 feet away from all public doors.

    • No public parking is available.

    • WARNING - Security cameras, video recording, strobe lights, fog and high volume audio are in use for most events.

    THE MATAO EVENT CENTRE **TICKET DISCLOSURE**


    • All tickets sold for shows & events are only available on this site or by phoning the office. Please don't be scammed or buy from any other source.  If you have any questions please call the office at 204.297.9987 before you purchase.

    • All tickets purchased online or by phone will be held at the door (not mailed) and will be ready for pick on event day. Purchasers must bring proof of purchase and ID to collect the tickets.  
    •  
    • All ticket sales are final, no refunds, credits or exchanges. No exceptions. 

    • Rush seating is in effect for all shows & events unless stated otherwise. Doors will typically open 1 hour prior to starting. 

    • A service fee of $2.50 is applied to each ticket purchased online or by phone. Advance ticket buyers save as door tickets on event day will be $7.50 more per tickets.

    • The venue has the right to cancel, postpone or suspend any event at anytime.
